Call for Papers

We will try to hold an on-site event if and only if the safety and comfort of the attendees is ensured. Otherwise, the conference will be held in an interactive, live online setting. In any case, virtual presentations will be accepted.

Publication and Indexation

All papers accepted for publication will be published in Springer CCIS Series — Communications in Computer and Information Science.

           SCImago Journal & Country Rank

CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago and Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted to be included in ISI Proceedings.

               

A subset of the papers that are not accepted for publication in Springer CCIS Series (due to different technical aspects), can be selected for oral presentation at the Conference. These papers will be published in the UNLP repository (under ISBN reference).

 

    

The authors will be invited to send an improved, extended version to the Journal of Computer Science & Technology.

The JCS&T is abstracted/indexed in Scopus, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) by Clarivate Analytics, Núcleo Básico de Revistas Científicas (CONICET), Latindex Catálogo, REDIB, DOAJ, Google Scholar, ProQuest, AmeliCA, among others.

                        

Type of Papers

Full papers correspond to academic-scientific works that provide some original contribution to the Conference topics. They must be written in English and must not exceed 14 pages.
Short papers correspond to on-going research or postgraduate thesis, and may present novel ideas with preliminary results. They must be written in English and must not exceed 5 pages.

Originality and Review Process

Papers must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere. In addition, they will be scanned using the iThenticate plagiarism check tool.
All paper submissions will be reviewed by three experts and returned to the author(s).

Springer Nature Code of Conduct for Book Authors

Authors should follow the minimum standards as set out in the Springer Nature Code of Conduct for Book Authors.

Formatting instructions

Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for MSWord, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each accepted paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form, through which the copyright for their paper is transferred to Springer .

Important note: The authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference. Virtual presentations will be available.

Registration fees

Both registration and article publication are free of charges.

Best Paper Award

Purpose

This award recognizes the best paper presented at the Conference, considering technical work, originality, potential impact on the field, clarity of the written paper, and quality of the conference presentation.

Eligibility

All full papers submitted and published in the conference proceedings of the year are eligible for competition for the Best Paper Award.

Prize

A signed and stamped official award certificate with the name of the award, the name of the paper, and the names of the authors of the paper.

Important Dates

Submission Deadline: Febrery 10, 2025 – March 28 April 7, 2025.
Notification Due: May 23, 2025.
Final Version and license Due: June 6, 2025.
